The charitable organization FREE ZONE was founded by the representatives of the community of people with experience of being in places of detention.
Being a member of the National Council on TB and HIV/AIDs, it has been representing the interests of the imprisoned people since 2018.
The main activities of the organization are aimed at providing imprisoned people with access to high-quality and timely medical care and vital services at the level of the best international standards and practices.
The basic principle of all the activities conducted by the organization is a zero-tolerance to any violations of human rights and demonstrations of stigma and discrimination in relation to prisoners and people who have been released.
The charitable organization FREE ZONE is an official partner of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine in terms of the implementation of the reforms of the penitentiary system.
